David Wentworth grew up and studied in New Britain, dedicating his life to supporting others as a social worker. He was known for his warm heart and steady presence, always offering a hand up to anyone facing hard times.

Neighborhood Promise is honored to name our Hand-up Center in memory of someone so deeply caring.

The David Wentworth Hand-Up Donation Center provides personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies, clothing and other items to those in need.

Community donations support the Hand-Up Donation Center.

 

The Hand-Up Center is located on the second floor of South Church in New Britain, CT.

Currently the Hand-Up Center is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:00-12:00 and 12:30 -2:00
